BREWER – Irving William Fickett, 65, died Feb. 23, 2004, at a Bangor healthcare center. He was born Aug. 14, 1938, in Cherryfield, son of Burnard E. and Ina (Savage) Fickett. He had been employed as a cook at Cap Morrill’s in Brewer, and the Greenhouse in Bangor. He is survived by a brother, Burnard Fickett Jr. of Addison. Irving will be greatly missed by a special niece, Wendy and her husband, Wilbur Barronton, of Eddington, and their family, Shawn, Jamie and Toni. Also surviving are special niece, Starlene Howe of Hermon; special nephew, William Grant Jr. of Brewer; great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, Raymond Bendure and his wife, Heather. He was predeceased by three sisters, Jane, Jean and Joan. A private interment will be held at a later date at the Rock Maple Cemetery in Harrington.
