CEDARTOWN, Ga. – Mr. Holman Lovely Flanagin Jr., 81, formerly of Presque Isle and Grand Forks, N.D., passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at his residence. He was born April 18, 1926, in Mapleton. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. Holman L. Flanagin Sr. and Mrs. Thelma Filmore Downing; and his brother, Mr. Elton Flanagin. Family members surviving are daughters and sons-in-laws, Marda and Fred Bolt of Grand Forks, N.D., and Holly and Scott Purpur of Grand Forks, N.D.; son, Chris Flanagin of Grand Forks; sons and daughters-in- law, Michael and Marg Flanagin of Thompson, N.D., John and Dawn Flanagin of West Fargo, N.D., and Andy and Lori Flanagin of Bismark, N.D.; brother, Sidney and Marion Flanagin of Casco; companion, Norma Berry of Cedartown; 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks, N.D. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial service.
