GWENDOLYN LOUISE GOULD ELLIOTT

CARIBOU and FORT FAIRFIELD – Gwendolyn Louise Gould Elliot, 69, died Dec. 3, 2003, at a Caribou healthcare facility following a long illness. She was born March 17, 1934, at Caribou, the daughter of Ora (Doody) and Norman Jones. Ms. Elliott was a graduate of the Fort Fairfield High School and attended the Presque Isle Normal School. She was employed with Interstate Foods, Fort Fairfield, and was a member of the Celebration Center, Fort Fairfield. She was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Sheila Jones of Caribou, Ralph and Cynthia Jones of Fort Fairfield, Melvin and Kathy Jones of Connecticut; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Philippa and Victor Ciesielski of Mapleton, Elta and Ray Kilcollins of Fort Fairfield; several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be conducted in the spring at the Crouseville Cemetery, with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in Ms. Elliott’s memory to the Celebration Center, P.O. Box 738, Fort Fairfield, ME 04742. Arrangements in the care of the Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield.
