BRADLEY – Eric Norman Meservey, 17, died unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at his home. He was born Oct. 3, 1990, in Bangor, the son of Norman Meservey and Karen (Shorette) Meservey. Eric enjoyed sports, and was an avid football and baseball player. He supported the Red Sox, the Patriots and loved going to Black Bear football games. He also was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. He was a junior at Old Town High School and attended United Technology Center, Bangor. He was employed summers at his family owned golf course, Hidden Meadows, Old Town. His quick smile and playful spirit will be greatly missed. Eric is survived by his parents, Karen (Shorette) Meservey and her fiance, Willy Lucas, of Bradley, and Norman Meservey of Old Town; a sister, Amy Meservey of Milford; maternal grandparents, Pepere Joel and Memere Ruth Ann Shorette of Bradley; paternal grandparents, Robert and Joyce Meservey of Old Town; Amanda Lucas and her daughter, Emma, of Greenbush; very special aunts and uncles, Joe and Mary Shorette of Bradley, Barry and Toni Meservey, Robert and Cindy Meservey and Boyce Meservey; very special cousins, Chris Shorette and his wife, Sarah, Heather Shorette and Tommy Graffam, Samantha and Ben Meservey, Daniel and Lucas Meservey, Kaitlyn Meservey, Shawn and Paul Gallant and Levi and Zachary Meservey. Friends are invited to call 3-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A memorial mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. Ann’s Church, 68 Main St., Bradley.
