EGLINE (CARON) SIROIS

ST. DAVID – Egline (Caron) Sirois, 83, died Aug. 22, 2008, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Sept. 17, 1924, in Madawaska, the daughter of Philias and Edith (Levesque) Caron. Egline was a devoted farmer’s wife before retiring to La Maison Acadian and then to the excellent care of Ridgewood Estates, Madawaska. Egline was a member of Le Dame de St. Anne and the Red Hat Society. She was a loving mother to her four surviving children, Theresa (Sirois) Guerrette and her husband, Clifford, of St. Agatha, Gerard Sirois of Madawaska, Marcel Sirois and his wife, Shelley, of Madawaska and Monique (Sirois) Cyr and her husband, Charlie, of St. David. She is also survived by one brother, Gilman Caron and his wife, Germaine, of Madawaska; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Ned Sirois; one sister, Aline (Caron) Lavertu; and one brother, Alphee Caron. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. David Church. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. David Cemetery.
