WOODLAND – Edward E. Montgomery, 53, died Sept. 2, 2007, at his residence. He was born Jan. 27, 1954, in Woodland, the son of Elmer and Elsie (Fuller) Montgomery. He is survived by his wife, Violet (Richardson) Montgomery of Woodland; two daughters, Eran and Heather Montgomery, both of Woodland; three brothers, Freddie Montgomery of Connecticut, Robert Montgomery of Van Buren and Vernon Montgomery of Missouri; five sisters, Judy Vester and Joyce Courchesne, both of North Carolina, Ruby Bryan, Phoebe Siegler and Eva Jones, all of Missouri; a granddaughter, Mackenzie Hite of Woodlan, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Stora “Jake” Montgomery. Friends may call 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, until time of funeral services, which will be held 1 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home, with the Rev. Rennie Tichnor officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish to contribute in mem-ory of Edward may do so to the family, care of Violet Mont-gomery, 1202 Woodland Center Road, Woodland, ME 04736.
