DONALD R. GODSOE

CORINTH – Donald R. Godsoe, 70, the husband of June (Doore) Godsoe, died Oct. 29, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 17, 1934, in Garland, the son of Lawrence and Albina (Terrio) Godsoe. He had worked as a truck driver and also had owned and operated a kitchen remodeling store. In addition to his wife of Corinth, are two daughters, Cherryl Chunn of Gulf Shores, Ala. and Rhonda Norden and her husband, Peter, of Southborough, Mass.; two sons, Brent Godsoe of Kenduskeag and Randy Godsoe and his wife, Lisa, of Union; four granddaughters, Miranda Schwarn and her husband, Michael, of Indianapolis, Ind. and Leslie and Maggie Norden, both of Southborough, Mass. and Teresa Godsoe and her daughter, April, of Ashland; two special grandsons, Grant and Alan Goodwin of Corinth; a sister, Freda Chambers of Dover-Foxcroft; and two very special friends, Chet Sawyer of Charleston and Howard Davis of Gulf Shores, Ala. Friends may meet with the family noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Garland.
