BANGOR – Dianne L. McGrath, 56, wife of William “Bill” McGrath, died Feb. 26, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 19, 1951, in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, the eldest daughter of Hazen Andrew and Olive Mae (Caldwell) Lindsay. Dianne worked for many years as a registered nurse and clinical nurse manager at both the Levinson Center and the Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center, Bangor. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed playing games, especially Pogo and poker. She was also a Red Sox fan. In addition to her husband of Bangor and her parents of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, she is survived by two daughters, Lindsay McGrath of New York and Maria Coates and her husband, Steven, of North Carolina; three stepchildren, Jeff Santo, Kimberly Pigony and Kelly Turner; two grandchildren, Cloey and Daniel Coates; one sister, Wanda Pollock and her husband, Gary, of Calais; two brothers, Donald Lindsay and his wife, Debbie, and Peter Lindsay and his wife, Christina, all of St. Stephen, New Brunswick; as well as, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 2, at Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor. Burial will be at a later date in New Brunswick.
