DAVID VAILLANCOURT OCKLAWAHA, Fla. – Donald Vaillancourt, 54, a Naval Shipyard Security Police employee with the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in New Hampshire died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004. Mr. Vaillancourt was born Feb. 3, 1949, in Fort Kent, the son of Eudore and Bernice Vaillancourt. A native of Bingham, he moved to Ocklawaha, Fla., in 1992. Mr. Vaillancourt was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran, and was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 1014. Survivors include his wife, Lou Vaillancourt of Ocklawaha; sons, Victor and Virgil Vaillancourt, both of Portsmouth, N.H.; daughters, Christina Hobbs of Vienna and Bekah Flethcer of York; mother, Bernice Vaillancourt of Bingham; brothers, David Vaillancourt of Bingham, Danny Vaillancourt of Ocklawaha, Reno Vaillancourt of Anson and Dudley Vaillancourt of Silver Springs, Fla.; step brother, Paul Vaillancourt of Mexico; sisters, Diane Abbott of Madison, Doreen Morrill and Linda Vaillancourt, both of Bingham, Debbie Vaillancourt of Dover-Foxcroft and Collette Vaillancourt of Fairfield; several grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Dale Vaillancourt; and his father, Eudore Joseph Vaillancourt.
