SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Dave J. Reynolds, our beloved husband, dad, son, brother and uncle, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003. He was born Feb. 16, 1960, in Fort Fairfield, child number six to Kenneth and Jean Reynolds. He obtained a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maine in Orono. He worked for the U.S. Government most recently for the Department of Veterans Administration at the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dave’s fondest times were spent with his family and friends. He enjoyed many lifelong friends including Dave Wright, Scott Bradley, Dave Clark, Dan Matchett and Steve Barnes. Dave was a lifelong supporter of and fostered many children through Childreach, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Lori; and daughters, Stephanie and Kelsey Reynolds; by his mother, Jean Dexter Reynolds, Fort Fairfield; brothers, Ken Reynolds of Lancaster, Texas, and Jay Reynolds (Karen) of Fort Fairfield; sisters, Lynn Soucy (Peter) of Dedham, Debra Scott (Dave) and Ellen Breeze (Bob), both of Salt Lake City, Utah, Patricia Reynolds-Regan (Kevin) of Lisbon Falls; his special aunt, Betty Dexter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dave was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Reynolds. Special thanks to all the employees of the University of Utah.
