FLORIDA and ELLSWORTH – Dale A. Richmond, 84, died Nov. 13, 2005, in Elkton, Fla. He was born Sept. 25, 1921, in Ellsworth, the son of Clyde and Carrie (Cox) Richmond. Dale graduated in 1939 from Ellsworth High School. He was a four-year member of the varsity basketball team. He worked at the State Liquor Store in Ellsworth and retired as a machinist from Pratt & Whitney. He is survived by his wife, Violet (Hughes); stepson, Scott Bridgeman, of Fresno, Calif.; stepdaughter, Donna Bridgeman of Vancouver, B.C., Canada; step-grandchildren, Alexander and Christopher Barrett Ryan, Remington, Mackenzie and Maverick Bridgeman; nieces, Jeanine Rogers of Trenton, Patricia Walters of Lewistown, Pa., Diane Castle of Surry; nephews, Stan Richmond of Surry and Wayne Rogers of Ellsworth. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Dale’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate, Inc., 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701-4688 or to Birdsacre Sanctuary, P.O.
