FRENCHVILLE – Corinne Dufour, 76, died Nov. 16, 2006, at a Madawaska nursing home. She was born May 13, 1930, in Madawaska, the daughter of Willey and Alma (Cyr) Michaud. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne She is survived by one son, Alphonse Jr. and his wife, Cecile, of Edmundston, New Brunswick; five daughters and their husbands, Jackie and Fernand Moreau, Nancy and Gilbert Couturier, both of Edmundston, New Brunswick, Patricia and Louis Paradis of Frenchville, Mildred and Philip Nadeau of Madawaska and Tina and Michael Charette of St. John; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother, Albey Michaud of Salem, Mass.; and one sister, Alfena Cyr of Madawaska. She was predeceased by her husband, Alphonse; and several brothers and sisters. Friends and relatives may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. Monday until time of services at Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Valley, Frenchville, with the Rev. Philip Cyr officiating. Burial will be at St. Luce Cemetery.
