CLAYTON W. REEVES

CHARLESTON – Clayton W. Reeves, 94, husband of the late Mildred (Elliott) Reeves, died Dec. 20, 2007 at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born July 9. 1913, in Bradford, the son of George and Catherine (Callwell) Reeves. He was a very devoted lifelong member of Charleston Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years. In addition to being the local barber, he also owned and operated Reeves School Bus Service in town for many, many years. He had been a former member of Odd Fellows Lodge and the local Kiwanis Club. He is survived by a daughter, Janice Helsius of Hunt Valley, Ind.; a son, Phillip of Portland; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grand-children. He was predeceased by his wife of more than 60 years and a daughter, Catherine Bryant. A memorial service will be held in the spring at a later date to be announced. Cremation arrangements are by Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth.
