HOULTON and DANFORTH Charles W. Muncey, 74, died March 5, 2007, at his home in Houlton. He was born Nov. 21, 1932, in Danforth, the son of Eugene and Marion (Kinney) Muncey. He loved hunting, fishing and working. The deer population increased when Charles quit hunting. He is survived by three sons, Charles Muncey and Teresa Williams of Houlton, Dwayne Muncey of Houlton, and Timothy Muncey of Alabama; four daughters, Tammy and Wayne Saunders of Linneus, Shawna Muncey of Tennessee, Iona and Gary Bryant of Alabama and Charlotte Wilson; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, including a special great-grandson, Isaac; one brother, Floyd Muncey; two sisters, Deana Lowe and Connie McEwen, all of Danforth; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce (Kitchen) Muncey; seven sisters and one brother. Friends may call noon-2 p.m. Friday at Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Bryant officiating. Spring interment will be at Danforth Cemetery.
