BRISTOL, Conn. – Blandine (Corriveau) Chasse, 86, wife of the late Lucien Chasse, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, after a short illness. She was born Sept. 10, 1918 in St. Agatha, daughter of the late Joseph and Glorieuse (Rossignol) and her stepmother, Roseanna (Cyr) Corriveau. She resided in St. Agatha most of her life before moving to Bristol, Conn., 13 years ago. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann in New Britain, Conn., and St. Gregory Church in Bristol, Conn. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Dorothy and Gerald Michaud of Meriden, Conn., Geraldine Blanchette of Bristol, Conn., Jeannine and Jean Dionne of Plainville, Conn., Conrad and Linda Chasse of Plainville, Conn., Donald and Maryann Chasse of Forestville, Conn., Allen Chasse of Las Vegas, Nev., Claudette and Gordon Dumond of Caribou, Marguerite Chasse of Bristol, Conn.; daughters-in-law, Delores Chasse of Fort Kent and Lisa Chasse of Plaineville, Conn. In addition, she leaves two brothers, Adrien Corriveau of Lewiston, Paul Emile Corriveau of Plainville, Conn.; and two sisters, Marie Poissionnier of Sanford and Emelda Doiron of New Britain, Conn.; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Gilbert and Gerard Chasse; three sisters, Bernice, Cecile and Bernadette; six brothers, Leo, Alphonse “Joe,” Marcel, Gilbert, Benoit, and Levite. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Calling hours will be held 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Michaud Funeral Home, 307 Main St., St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Agatha Catholic Church. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Agatha Lower Cemetery.
