MADAWASKA – Bertrand Dube, 78, died Jan. 31, 2008, at a Madawaska nursing home. He was born Aug. 7, 1929, in L’Isle Verte, Province of Quebec, the son of Thomas and Marianna (Lafrance) Dube. Bertrand was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus of Madawaska. He is survived by his wife, Ghislaine (Gagn?) Dube of Madawaska; one daughter, Line Lizotte and her husband, Maurice, of Madawaska; two sons, Ghislain Dube and his wife, Bernice, of Madawaska and Gaetan Dube and his wife, Donna, of St. Cloud, Fla.; three brothers, Raoul Dube of Riviere Bleu, Province of Quebec, Mar-cel Dube of Quebec City, Canada, and Normand Dube of Riviere Blue, Province of Quebec; one sister, Jeanne Sirois of Clair, New Brunswick; eight grandchildren, Eric Lizotte and his wife, Kelley, Craig and Nathan Lizotte, Nathalie Paolino and her husband, Ryan, Ricky Dube, Mitchel Dube and his wife, Brigette, Tina Mullett and her husband, Jimmy, and Jonathan Dube and his fianc?e, Kelley; and two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Charlie Dube. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Church, Madawaska. Fri-ends and relatives may call for visitation 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment will be at the parish cemetery in the spring.
