BERNICE T. WILLARD LAMOINE – Bernice T. Willard, 82, wife of the late Paul F. Willard, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1921, in Millinocket, the daughter of Howard S. and Helen M. (Sears) Tibbitts. Bernice was an avid beano player and was a regular at all the local gatherings. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and especially enjoyed the Tibbitts family reunion in the summer of 2003. Bernice is survived by three sons, Howard Nelson and his wife, Bernice, John Nelson and his wife, Debbie, all of Millinocket, and Richard Willard and his wife, Kelli, of Lamoine; two daughters, Sally Chesley and her husband, Arthur, of Lincoln, and Patricia Hart of Poland; four stepchildren, Barbara Lyons and Eugene ‘Bob’ Willard and his wife, Sandra, aLl of Millinocket, Sharon and her husband, Alex Holway of Lincoln, and Pat Connolly and her husband, John, of Gouldsboro; a brother, Warren Tibbitts of Michigan; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a stepson, Paul F. Willard Jr. ‘Butch’. Private graveside services will be held at the Millinocket Cemetery, Millinocket. Gifts in memory of Bernice may be sent to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are by Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Ellsworth.
