BLUE HILL – Arnold F. Cousins Sr., 74, died unexpectedly Dec. 18, 2007, at a Blue Hill Hospital. He was born June 11, 1933, in Blue Hill, the son of Oliver and Francis (Saunders) Cousins Sr. Arnold worked for many years as a building contractor and also had his own trucking business. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, camping, four-wheeling and working on his wood pile. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Avis (Harper) Cousins; his mother, Francis; a son, Arnold Cousins Jr.; daughters, Anne and husband, Stephen Redman, and Candy and Katy Cousins; brothers, David and Oliver Cousins; sisters, Colleen Cousins Astbury and Sharrie Cousins Curtis; grandchildren, Brandi C. Lambert and Misty Redman; great-grandson, Melvin Lambert; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father; and a sister, Carolyn Cousins Howard. A service of remembrance will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, at Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 141 South St., Blue Hill.
