DOVER-FOXCROFT – Amy Elizabeth Hodsdon, 72, wife of the late Everett M. Hodsdon for almost 40 years, died Oct. 16, 2003, at Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Aug. 6, 1931, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Elwin and Marjorie Pingree. Surviving are her beloved son, Paul Hodsdon and his wife, Denise, of Brewer; her father, Elwin Pingree of Dover-Foxcroft; a brother, John Pingree and his wife, Rachel, of Dover-Foxcroft; a very special cousin, Barbara Soileau and her husband, Burke, of Sebec; a sister-in-law, Florence Bean and her husband, Willis, of Corinth; many nieces, nephews and special friends. Amy’s family extends their sincere gratitude to the volunteers and staff of the Hibbard Nursing Home for the loving care provided to Amy during the last five years and to her many special friends for their continued love and support. At her request, there will be no funeral services.
