Boys soccer

Easton 6, Washburn 1

At Easton, Brad Trask had four goals and an assist as Easton defeated Washburn.

Corey White scored a goal and added an assist for the Bears. Sam Bacon had a goal and Zach Clark provided an assist. Cody Thompkins blocked nine of 13 shots.

Evan Sperry scored an unassisted goal for Washburn. Justin Howe turned away 29 of 43 shots.

Houlton 6, Hodgdon 0

At Hodgdon, Lowell Matthews had a hat trick with three goals to lead Houlton past Hodgdon.

Gary Fowler, Ashir Abouleish and Ryan Vanbuskirk added goals for 1-5 Houlton. Dylan Gard provided two assists. Vanbuskirk had four saves on six shots to earn the shutout.

Eric Ryan made 12 saves on 30 shots for 0-4 Hodgdon.

Dexter 1, Central 1 (2OT)

At Dexter, Dexter’s Nathan Wyman and Central of Cor-inth’s Cole Haskell didn’t allow a goal in two overtimes.

Jacob Speed scored off a Ryan Bean assist with 18:42 remaining in the second half to tie it up for 0-0-2 Central. Haskell blocked 12 of 30 shots.

Andrew Lary put 1-0-1 Dexter on the board with an assist form Devon Grant with 26:54 left in the first half. Wyman made 19 saves on 33 shots.

George Stevens 9, Sumner 2

At East Sullivan, Mike Senter-Zapata scored three times to earn a hat trick as George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill defeated Sumner.

Adam Groves scored two goals for the 2-0 Eagles. Dillon Lee, Alex Kim, Nate Hines and John Ludlow added goals. Josh Gale and Hines combined for four saves on eight shots.

Gabe O’Brien and Anthony Cultrea scored for 0-2 Sumner. Josh Ring and Mike Crowley combined to block 14 of 26 shots.

Woodland 4, Washington Acad. 1

At Woodland, Ben Sears scored two goals to lead Woodland to victory over Washington Academy of East Machias.

Chad James had a goal and an assist for the 1-0 Dragons and Andy Brown scored a goal. Scott Boomer and Brad Arthurs provided assists. Freshman Ryan Lincoln blocked 24 of 25 shots.

Noah Von Rotz scored an unassisted goal with seven minutes left in regulation for 0-1 Washington Academy.

Bryce Colbeth made 20 saves on 24 shots.

Penobscot Valley 3, Lee Acad. 1

At Howland, Ryan Scopino, Matt Theriault and Adam Brown scored goals to lift Penobscot Valley past Lee Academy.

Leigh Dolley and Derrick Bellevance provided assists for the 2-0 Howlers. Jacob Jones made five saves on six shots.

Ze Quing Ou scored off a Jeong Ho Oh assist in the sec-ond half for the 0-1 Pandas. A.J. Harris turned away 13 of 18 shots.

JV: Lee 2-0

Piscataquis 4, Schenck 4 (2OT)

At Guilford, Schenck of East Millinocket scored three unanswered goals in the second half to tie it at 4-4, but neither the Wolverines nor Piscataquis could score in two overtimes.

Aaron Hutchins scored all three goals in the second half for 0-1-1 Schenck. Chris Ouellete had a first-half goal. Jerome York faced 11 shots.

Josh Herrick scored two goals for the 0-1-1 Pirates.

Kyle Steeves and Matt Gilbert also scored. Brian Hackett provided two assists, and Damien Bridge had an assist. Corbin Shufelt faced 22 shots.

DI-Stonington 5, Searsport 1

At Deer Isle, Nathan Joyce had three goals to lead the Mariners to victory.

Jay Boyce had two goals and Eben Powers two assists for 1-1 Deer Isle-Stonington. Lucas Trundy had two saves on four shots.

Chris Gillo scored for 0-2 Searsport. Dan Peach stopped 10 of 22 shots.

Girls soccer

Woodland 4, East Grand 0

At Danforth, Molly White booted in two goals and assisted on another to lead Woodland past East Grand.

Chastity Beach added a pair of goals for the 2-0 Dragons. Taylor Cochran stopped all eight shots she faced for the shutout.

Courtney Lloyd recorded five saves on 29 shots for 0-2 East Grand.

Houlton 4, Hodgdon 1

At Hodgdon, Chelsi Murray, Amanda Fogarty and Martha McPartland each scored an unassisted goal to spark the Shire-towners.

Amelia Butler scored off a Vanessa Sanderson assist for 4-3 Houlton. Madison Lizotte made 14 saves on 16 shots.

Karriann Estabrook tallied an unassisted goal for 1-3-1 Hodgdon. Em Jurson made 21 saves on 32 shots.

Calais 7, Shead 0

At Calais, Toni Cole knocked in three goals and assisted on another to lead Calais past Shead of Eastport.

Lauren Remington tallied three goals while Shannon Scarlett had one goal and three assists for the 1-1 Blue Devils. Hillary Hollingdale had two saves on three shots.

Gabryelle Jackson saved 23 of 41 shots for 0-1 Shead.

Washburn 3, Easton 0

At Easton, Lindsay Blackstone scored two goals as Washburn shut out Easton.

Rebecca Campbell scored an unassisted goal in the second half for Washburn. Morgan Blackstone assisted Lindsey Blackstone’s goal in the first. Rachel Palmer stopped 12 of 25 shots.

Taylor Burtt made 21 saves on 30 shots for Easton.

Field hockey

Dexter 5, Mattanawcook 1

At Dexter, Olivia Gardiner scored two goals while Claire Wyman scored one and assisted on another to lead Dexter past Mattanawcook of Lincoln.

Megan Mower and Jess Mason added goals for the 2-0 Tigers. Sam Conway had four saves on seven shots.

Karyn Knott scored unassisted for the 1-1 Lynx. Vinni Nesin stopped four of 12 shots.

JV: Dexter 2-0

Hermon 4, Stearns 3 (OT)

At Hermon, Lily Barry scored her third goal with 3:33 left in overtime off a Jaimie Beers assist to give Hermon the win over Stearns of Millinocket.

Barry also scored in the first and second halves for Hermon. Lauren Tara added goal off a Beers assist.

Angela Levesque scored two goals, both on penalty strokes, for Stearns. Becca Leavitt also scored a goal.

JV: Stearns 3-0
