Ouellette keys Crusaders

VAN BUREN — Jennifer Ouellette scored three goals to lead Van Buren to a 6-1 girls soccer victory over Central Aroostook of Mars Hill on Saturday.

Lindsay LaJoie, Kristy Learnard and Haley Lizotte each added a goal while Genna Bouchard and Brittany Duprey each had an assist for Van Buren. Ashlie Wilson made seven saves on 10 shots for the 5-2 Crusaders.

Kristen Long scored for Central Aroostook while Vicki McIntyre stopped nine of 22 shots for the 3-7 Panthers.

Houlton 7, Calais 0

At Houlton, Lainey Herring scored two goals as the Shiretowners earned their second victory.

Amanda Fogarty, Erika Lackey, Courtney Putnam, Megan Skehan and Colleen Fitzpatrick also scored goals for 2-3 Houlton.

Abby Kinens had two assists, while Vanessa Sanderson and Chelsea Murray had one assist each.

Madison Lezotte stopped all four shots she faced for Houlton.

Hillary Hollingdale made seven saves on 15 shots for 0-1 Calais.

LCS/MSSM 1, Washburn 0

At Washburn, Caitlin Good had an unassisted goal at 19:45 of the first half to give Lime-stone/Maine School of Science and Mathematics the win over Washburn.

Audra Kirk made 11 saves on 25 shots for the 4-4 Eagles.

Rachel Palmer turned away two of four shots for 5-4 Washburn.

Fort Kent 0, Orono 0 (2OT)

At Fort Kent, neither Fort Kent nor Orono could push the ball past the goalkeepers as their match ended in a score-less tie through two overtimes.

Carissa Pelletier stopped 10 of 15 shots for 5-1-1 Fort Kent.

Elizabeth Fox made 11 saves on 21 shots for 0-0-1 Orono.

Ellsworth 3, Presque Isle 2 (2OT)

At Ellsworth, Ashley Cloak scored the game-winning goal with 3:23 left in the second overtime to lift Ellsworth by Presque Isle.

Maggie Harding netted two goals while Lauren Peer posted two assists for Ellsworth. Angie Tucker made 10 saves on 17 shots for the 1-0 Eagles.

Kayla Legassie and Brittany Bearden each scored a goal for Presque Isle. Kelsey Park stopped four of 10 shots for the 2-1 Wildcats.

Caribou 5, Foxcroft Acad. 0

At Caribou, Genna Selander and Kristen Espling each scored two goals as Caribou shut out Foxcroft Academy.

Jamie Martin added a goal for Caribou while Emily An-derson, Lydia Kieffer and Paige Small each had an assist. Brit-tany Doak made four saves on six shots for the 2-2 Vikings.

Sarah Whittemore stopped seven of 28 shots for the 0-1 Ponies.

Greenville 2, Buckfield 2 (2OT)

At Buckfield, McKenna Peat scored two goals for Greenville, including the game-tying goal 11:28 into the second half, as the Lakers battled Buckfield to a 2-2 tie through two overtimes.

Nikki Hamilton had an assist for Greenville. Sidney Richardson stopped 17 of 19 shots for the 0-0-1 Lakers.

Ashlee Hamann scored two goals while Carly Carlisle made eight saves on 35 shots for 0-0-1 Buckfield.

Boys soccer

Cen. Aroostook 7, Van Buren 0

At Van Buren, Central Aroostook of Mars Hill erupted with seven goals in the second half as the Panthers shut out the Crusaders.

Dan Brewer scored three goals while Manny Martinez tallied two goals and an assist. Logan Thomas and Brandon York each added a goal while Garret Styles and Zack Stetson each had an assist. Lucas Roy made eight saves on 17 shots for the 6-3-1 Panthers.

Ross Grass stopped seven of nine shots for 1-6 Van Buren.

Easton 2, East Grand 0

At Danforth, Brad Trask and Luke Boudreau each netted a goal as Easton blanked East Grand.

Cody Tompkins made five saves on seven shots for the 9-2 Bears.

Abe Brittain stopped 38 of 47 shots for the 0-1 Vikings.

Caribou 5, Foxcroft 0

At Caribou, Cameron Anderson scored three goals as the Vikings shut out Foxcroft Academy.

Ethan McDuffie had a goal and an assist for 2-1-1 Caribou. Chad McCarthy scored a goal as Phil St. Peter and Nick James provided assists. Eric Brown stopped two of five shots.

Jamie Lee made four saves on 14 shots for 0-1 Foxcroft Academy.

Narraguagus 4, Sumner 0

At East Sullivan, Nate Best netted three goals to power Narraguagus of Harrington to the shutout over Sumner.

Jeremy Look added a goal for Narraguagus. Brenden Tenney made seven saves on 10 shots for the 1-0 Knights.

Mike Crowley stopped 16 of 22 shots for 0-1 Sumner.

Machias 5, Calvary Chapel 1

At Machias, Matt Little and Jacob Stevens scored two goals apiece to spark Machias by Calvary Chapel Christian of Orrington.

Jake Dahl posted a goal and three assists for Machias. Mi-chael Jenkins stopped four of seven shots for the 1-0 Bulldogs.

Stephen Brenyi netted a goal for Calvary Chapel while Devan Warman made 12 saves on 24 shots for the 0-1 Sabers.

MDI 2, Old Town 0

At Bar Harbor, Iz Ward scored an unassisted goal with four minutes remaining in the first half to help push Mount Desert Island past Old Town.

Abe Gladstone added an insurance goal off a Tyler Steel assist with nine minutes left in regulation for the 1-0 Trojans. Ben Cummings blocked five of six shots.

Lee Larry made six saves on 10 shots for 0-1 Old Town.

Greenville 3, Buckfield 2

At Buckfield, Richie Chilson scored two goals to lift Greenville over Buckfield.

Tony DiAngelo had a goal and an assist for 1-0 Greenville. Evan Bickford assisted DiAngelo’s goal. Alex Jardine stopped 17 of 22 shots.

Aaron Dewitt scored off a Cam Allen assist for 0-1 Buckfield. Austin Dooley added an unassisted goal with five seconds left in regulation. Nathan Corson made 15 saves on 20 shots.

Lawrence 2, Nokomis 1 (OT)

At Newport, Kyle Rabe scored an unassisted goal with 1:27 remaining in the overtime to lead Lawrence of Fairfield to victory over Nokomis.

Rabe also scored with 53 seconds left in the first half to tie it up at 1-1 for 1-0 Lawrence. Corey Fabian blocked eight of 12 shots.

Kelby Duplisea had an unassisted goal with 12 minutes left in the first for the 0-1 Warriors. Tyler Wintle made 16 saves on 21 shots.
